Suranne Jones
Sarah Anne Jones (also known as Suranne Jones) is an actor and producer from England. Suranne Jones, an actress and producer from the UK. The actress gained notoriety for her character Ruth Slater, the detective in a procedural police drama "Scott & Bailey', as well as Gemma Foster, the GP in the medical drama "Doctor Foster.' Born in Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones joined The Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from them. When she was just eight when she started acting, Jones was cast in a play called 'Wait until Dark.' She played Gloria. She made her debut on screen in 1997 when she played an actress in an episode from "Coronation Street". In 2000, she was reintroduced for the show as Karen McDonald. Then, she was cast as a variety of TV characters which included 'Vincent"Strictly Confidential," and 'Harley Street.' Also, she been seen on screen in films such as "Love and a Longshot,' 'Broken Hearts, and 'A Christmas star.
